As friends of mine know, I have plenty of issues with director MichaelBay, especially his recent &ldquoTransformers&rdquo films. I know plenty of people out there complain about Bay and yet still spend their hard-earned money on his films. I&rsquom not here to make them feel bad I&rsquom guilty as charged.

By high school, I knew for sure that I was attracted to women. I made an effort to reverse my thinking, telling myself that I couldnt possibly be gay because it was wrong. If I saw a couple walking and thought: Wow, she is really pretty, I would tell myself, No-HE is cute hes the one Im supposed to look at.

Haiti is all we have heard about recently. The earthquake that shattered the region on January 12 has killed an estimated 100,000 individuals. It was nothing short of a tragedy and certainly not something to brush off or criticize. It is, however, something that can be learned from.

Ask any person who has taken a high school level American historycourse about FDR, and almost unanimously youll hear a response such as: "Of course! Thats the guy who got us out of the Great Depression.Heck of a president, that FDR!" Take a glance at any books of presidential rankings by various historians and political scientists, and you will find him ranked near the top of the pack without fail.

I grabbed my boyfriend in the kitchen the other night and told him I needed a moment - just a moment - to get something off my chest."Dont judge me," I begged. "I know that what Im about to say is fatheaded and wrong, but I just need to get it out."He nodded and I braced myself against the kitchen counter, making sure to distance myself from a nearby block of knives.

If there is one thing I certainly wont miss about college, its textbooks. The one trip to the bookstore, at the beginning of each semester, is enough to kill any excitement I have about starting new classes. I dread that trip, I dread finding out how many books I will need for each class, and I certainly dread the high prices.
