A festival of fashion

With winter now in full swing and the spring solstice still months away, students at MSU might be hard pressed to find beauty in the cold hands of a February in Minnesota: but sometimes beauty -and culture - can be found in the most unlikely of places. The YWCAs Walking in Two Worlds program will be holding their second annual "International Festival of Fashion" this Monday, an opportunity for people from all cultural backgrounds to get together and celebrate their diversity through fashion and food.

With hockey season in full swing everywhere else, a simple question arises: Where is Hillsdales hockey team?Perhaps more appropriate , though: Where did Hillsdales hockey team go? Twice before Hillsdale College had a hockey team, but both times the endeavor failed due to a lack of student interest.

As a carload of college students journey to the end of Hideaway Lane, glimmers of light reflect against a yellow fluorescent street sign reading, "The Rink," on the Connors family farm. The vehicle sidles to a halt before a shed, gently illuminated by the natural ambiance of a southern Michigan countryside.
